The Dog Saving Network promotes a unique messaging strategy. First we connect with volunteers, usually those who have adopted shelter dogs, though it’s not required. Our volunteers must be dedicated to learning positive reinforcement training. During the eight-week classes, professional trainers teach volunteers the basics. This step alone will enrich your dog’s life and improve your mutual bond. By this point in training, many dogs start exhibiting glimmers of “star quality.” If you choose to continue and nurture your dog’s abilities, the fun factor, and your commitment, increases. Dog-human teams are selected, and more rigorous training begins. The end result is Life’s Ruff, our stage show designed to let the teams strut their stuff before a live audience.
Our entertaining and educational show hopes to inspire others to action, which in turn will continue the cycle of training using positive reinforcement. Like what we are doing? Do something positive in your community. Volunteer at a shelter. Learn how to train and use those skills to help dogs get adopted. Foster a dog. Get active and get involved!
Inspiring people to make positive choices for dogs.
The Dog Saving Network is dedicated to raising awareness and finding solutions to the problems unwanted dogs in our country face. We use a creative, entertaining and educational approach to tackle this complex problem. Through our live stage show, “Life's Ruff,” a subtle but powerful messaging strategy comes into play, inspiring others to action. This will continue the cycle of training using positive reinforcement, while building our network and having a great time.
With your support, we can improve the lives of dogs and reduce the number destroyed each year.
Positive reinforcement training is a great way to teach a dog to do anything he is physically capable of doing.
