Donation Instructions

We need your help! With your support, we can continue to help improve the lives of a huge number of dogs and reduce the number of healthy, adoptable dogs destroyed each year. Funds raised will be used to:

Continue to produce stage shows so that we can get our messages out in a fun, educational format.
Continue to offer no cost training and consultations to shelters, rescue groups and individual rescuers. We do not wish to take away from the already tight budgets of the organizations and individuals doing some important work out there.
Develop our own foster care program. We are currently looking for people in Chicago who wish to foster a dog with The Dog Saving Network. One of the requirements of a foster candidate is that they will need to be willing and able to learn how to train and to spend time each day training their foster dog. We need donations so we can supply all of our dogs with proper behavioral and medical care and give our volunteers the tools they need to be a successful foster home.
Build our own facility. Our proposed “Rescue and Awareness Center” will be an extremely unique experience. This center will provide us with a permanent shelter space and will be committed to making training a part of the daily life of all the dogs that come through our doors. Every person who works at the center will also be taught how to train. Whether they are adoption counselors, educators, environmental services technicians or part of the management team, everyone will be taking an active role in training each and every day. It is our goal that all dogs will be AKC Canine Good Citizen certified before they are eligible for adoption and we will provide a comprehensive training plan for all dogs leaving our care including lifetime training support for new owners.
